Global warming projection reports are produced covering results of experimental numerical projection of future climate from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 5 (CMIP5) and the Coordinated Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) to assess the impacts of global warming on the African climate.

Moreover, long term climate studies and climate change detection reports are provided detailing the climatic conditions of Africa, recent anomalies and trends with emphasis on standard climate indices derived from precipitation and near surface air temperature. The African RCC also monitors long-tem changes in regional temperature and precipitation at monthly, seasonal and annual timescales.
